Meeting between Consul General Matsui and Japanese Society of Auckland President Ms Kuroda (August 29, 2023)

On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, Consul General Matsui exchanged views with new President Ms Kuroda and new Vice Presidents Mr Narita & Mr Watanabe of the Japanese Society of Auckland.

The Japanese Society of Auckland, established in December 1989, is a friendship organization for Japanese residents in the Auckland area (635 members as of August 29, 2021).

New President Ms Kuroda explained her aspirations as the new president to make the Japanese Society of Auckland an enjoyable and satisfying association for all its members, as well as her plans for future activities.

Consul General Matsui stated that our office will continue to cooperate with the Japanese Society and contribute broadly to the development of activities of the Japanese Society and Japanese residents in Auckland, building on its outcome and efforts up to date.
