Dargaville High School
Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland visited Dargaville High School in Dargaville. It is situated on the bank of the Northern Waitoa River in Nothland region and this town is home to Tane Mahuta, the largest Kauri tree in the world ( over 2000 year's old!)
All students enjoyed watching DVDs about Japan and Japanese lunch box trend and sushi. Also they had a great fun learning about Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas.
Then they had a sushi making workshop to learn how to create their very own and tasty Japanese sushi rolls such as teriyaki chikin roll, tamagoyaki & avocado roll and more!!
