Diocesan School for Girls
2017/8/28
On Monday 12 June 2017, Consulate-General of Japan visited Diocesan School for Girls (18 students, Year 7).
They learnt how to wear Yukata ( Japanese casual summer kimono). They were especially enthusiastic when they got the chance to try on beautiful and colorful yukata (Japanese casual summer kimono) and geta ( Japanese traditional foot wear) by themselves.

This topic (Yukata dressing) is one of popular topics for many schools in the Auckland region. We always look forward to meeting students with an interest in Japan and its culture.
