Greenpark School

On Friday 24 March 2023, Consulate Staff visited Greenpark School (Total 75 students, Year 5&6) which is located in the Tauranga suburb of Greerton. All students enjoyed meeting therapeutic baby seal robot, Paro and learning about Japan and school life in Japan through DVDs plus useful Japanese words. Then, they freely expressed their opinions about the similarities and differences of primary school life in New Zealand and Japan. Also they had great fun with the following activities.
- Learning about Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas.
- Make and Play - Paper Plane & Play with Japanese Traditional Toys.
