Macleans College
On Wednesday 11 September, consulate staff visited Macleans College to meet 42 students from year 10.
We introduced Paro, the most famous therapeutic baby seal in the world. The cuddly Paro was very popular with students.
Also we talked about Hayabusa 2 project which is an asteroid sample-return mission operated by the Japanese space agency, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).
Then, We explained about the difference between Kimono and Yukata (Japanese casual summer kimono) and they learnt how to wear Yukata. They were especially enthusiastic when they got the chance to try on beautiful and colorful yukata.
