Paengaroa School
2019/3/18
On Wednesday 13 March 2019, consulate staff visited Paengaroa School (32 students, Years 5&6). It was such a wonderful oppurtunity to visit this school again to meet beautiful children.
All students enjoyed the DVDs about Japan. Then they discussed the similarities and differences of school life in New Zealand and Japan. Also they had a great fun with the following activitis.
1, Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas and how to use chopstiks.
2, Meet the most famous therapeutic baby seal in the world and try Japan's super stationery erasable pen.
We hope that they were inspired to continue having interest in Japan and Japanese language.
