Consul General Minoya Speaks at Japan Business Club New Zealand (29 September 2026)

On 29 September, Consul General Minoya attended a meeting hosted by Japan Business Club New Zealand and delivered a talk on Japan–New Zealand relations.
In his remarks, Consul General Minoya expressed his appreciation to Japanese companies and businesspeople who have contributed over the years to strengthening relations between Japan and New Zealand through their business activities. He also spoke about the current state of Japan–New Zealand relations and economic ties between the two countries.
Looking ahead to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and New Zealand in 2027, Consul General Minoya expressed his hope that this milestone would provide an opportunity to further deepen exchanges between the two countries. He also looked forward to working closely with Japan Business Club New Zealand to further promote exchanges in a wide range of areas, including business.
