On 29 August, Consul General Minoya attended the Annual General Meeting of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Auckland Incorporated (Nisuikai), where he delivered a presentation on Japan–New Zealand relations.

In his presentation, Consul General Minoya looked back on the development of Japan–New Zealand relations over the past quarter century, highlighting the steady progress made across a wide range of areas, including political and security cooperation, economic ties, and people-to-people exchanges. Looking ahead to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and New Zealand in 2027, he also expressed his hope for further strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
