Exchange of Views with the New Executive Members of Nisui-kai (17 September 2026)

On 17 September, Consul General Minoya met the new executive members of Nisui-kai, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Auckland Incorporated, and exchanged views on Japan–New Zealand business relations.
The discussion covered the importance of economic and business ties between Japan and New Zealand, as well as the activities of Japanese companies and the wider Japanese business community in Auckland. Looking ahead to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and New Zealand in 2027, both sides reaffirmed their intention to continue working closely together to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.
