The Japanese Film Festival 2021 (3-6 March 2022)

The Consulate General of Japan in Auckland held the Japanese Film Festival 2021 at Academy Cinemas from 3 to 6 March. The festival was opened with a speech by Consul General Hamada.
A total of 6 films were screened at the festival, starting with ‘Café Funiculi Funicula – Before the Coffee Gets Cold - ’.The film festival was originally scheduled for late November but was postponed due to Covid-19. We would like to thank all the people who came to watch the films, despite the festival being held under Covid-19 restrictions. We are planning to hold the Japanese Film Festival 2022 in the latter half of this year. We do hope you will enjoy it.
