Kids Japanese Film Screening (26 March 2022)
2022/3/31
On Saturday 26 March the Consulate General of Japan in Auckland held the Kids Japanese Film Screening at the Ellen Melville Centre, featuring 2 Japanese animation films “Letter to Momo” and “Wolf Children”. We would like to thank all the people who attended.
The event was originally scheduled to be held as part of our Kids Japanese Festival, in which we introduce Japanese cultural activities such as calligraphy, Taiko drumming and Japanese tea tasting every year. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we could only show the films and visitors were able to take home some origami made by a staff member of the Consulate General. At the next Kids Japanese Festival we are planning to offer a range of cultural activities as we have done in the past so please look forward to this coming event.
