Meeting between Consul General MATSUI and Dr TANO, President of the University of Electro-Communications (4 December 2023)

On 4 December 2023, a delegation from the University of Electro-Communications (UEC), including the University President Dr TANO visited Auckland and exchanged views with Consul-General MATSUI. They agreed to cooperate to further promote academic exchange between the UEC and the universities in Auckland.
On the same day, the UEC organised a symposium on advanced science and technology, The UoA/UEC Trans-Pacific Symposium on Advanced Science and Engineering 2023, in partnership with the University of Auckland, which Consul-General MATSUI also attended. It is hoped that the symposium will lead to further deepening of exchange between the two universities.
