Silverdale Primary School

On Thursday 9 August, consulate staff visited Silverdale Primary School for their International Language Week and had a wonderful time with Year0 & Year1 children (approximate 30 students x 5 classes).

We introduced Paro, the most famous therapeutic baby seal in the world. The cuddly Paro was very popular with little kids. We also talked about Japanese foods. The students were very interested to see surprisingly realistic Japanese food samples. At the end of class, students learnt how to play Janken (Rock-paper-scissors) and had a big fun with the game " Janken Train".
