Kana works at a Japanese soapland, a form of adult entertainment unique to Japan. When her mother is unexpectedly hospitalized, she is asked to care for her grandmother, Kie, who is living with dementia.

As Kana balances caregiving by day and her work by night, she struggles to connect with a grandmother who no longer remembers her. Yet each new encounter gradually brings the two closer. Through their time together, Kana discovers an unexpected side of Kie’s past and begins to reflect on her own life.
