Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland Birkenhead College
On Friday 24 October 2014, Consulate Staff visited Birkenhead College (37students, Year 9). They learnt about Japanese traditional culture through a workshop and some DVDs. In the workshop, they enjoyed getting to know about Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas and had a lot of fun trying Shodo (Japanese Calligraphy) and kirie (the Japanese art of paper cutting). |
