The Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland recently visited Diocesan School For Girls (14students, Year 7).

The students enjoyed learning Japanese culture through the DVD.
Also, they were especially enthusiastic when they got the chance to try on beautiful and colorful yukata (Japanese casual summer kimono) and geta ( Japanese traditional foot wear).

It was a great opportunity to introduce Japanese culture to the students to build interest in Japan and Japanese language.
