Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland visited Mt Albert Grammar School (Two Classes - Class1: 22 students Year 9, Class2: 32 students Year 9) on Tuesday 22 October.

They enjoyed DVDs about Japanese traditional culture and pop culture and had a great fun with the following two workshops.
1, Japanese table manners including how to use chopsticks and also about Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas.
2. How to wear Yukata (Japanese traditional summer kimono), Happi (Japanese traditional coat) and Geta (traditional footwear).
