Consulate-General of Japan in Auckland recently visited Tauhara College (Class1:25students, Year 10&11 / Class2: 20students, Year 9) in Taupo.

They enjoyed watching DVDs about Japanese traditional culture and pop culture and playing with super popular Yurukyara Kumamon. Also they had great fun learning about Japanese food with surprisingly realistic food replicas.

We hope the students gained more deep understanding about Japanese people and Japanese culture through this visit.
