French Cooking Class by Chef for Consul General of Japan in Auckland (1 May 2024)

On Wednesday 1 May, Chef for Consul General of Japan in Auckland, Mr KITAZONO Riku, gave a French cooking class as part of the cooking courses organised by the IKOI JSA(Japanese Society of Auckland) as its monthly event useful for the life of the local Japanese community.
 
Chef KITAZONO demonstrated how to prepare Chicken Fricassee with Mushrooms and Gateau au Chocolat with Feijoa ice cream, which was his first time to give a cooking presentation in Auckland.
 
Many people attended this event (with Consul General’s wife and Consulate-General’s staff also present) and it was a great opportunity to connect with Japanese community in Auckland through the culinary enjoyment. 
 
We thank everyone who came to this event.
 
IKOI JSA is set up by JSA well-being division to strengthen the friendship among Japanese community in Auckland through learning and creating together under a monthly theme.
