2024/10/9
On Thursday 26 September, Mr Riku KITAZONO, Chef for Consul General of Japan in Auckland, gave a High Tea cooking class as part of the “Bringing Together” event organised by Age Concern Auckland(※).

Chef KITAZONO demonstrated how to prepare five items such as Edamame and Cream Cheese Choux Puffs and Onion Quiche, which the participants enjoyed dishing up and eating.
Also in attendance was Ms. Chiwako HOSHINA, Japan Tea Goodwill Ambassador in New Zealand, gave us a lecture on Japanese Tea, followed by tea tasting.

Many people, including those from Auckland Council Libraries, attended this event and it was a great opportunity to make connections within the Japanese community in Auckland.
We thank everyone who came to this event.
