High Tea Cooking Class by Chef for Consul General of Japan in Auckland (11 September 2025)

On 11 September, Mr Riku KITAZONO, Chef for Consul General of Japan in Auckland, led a High Tea cooking class as part of the “Bringing Together” event hosted by Age Concern Auckland (*).Chef KITAZONO introduced five items, including “Spring Sandwich with Cold-Smoked King Salmon and Radish, infused with Orange” and “Umeshu Savarin with a Crème Brûlée Twist.” Participants enjoyed arranging their own plates and tasting the items, which were met with great appreciation. The event welcomed many attendees and provided a wonderful opportunity to foster connections and strengthen ties within Auckland’s Japanese community.
